Two members of the NIF family received prominent recognition for their work promoting social justice in Israel.

Yedid founder Sari Revkin, who was the founding director of SHATIL, received this year’s prestigious Rappaport Prize for Women Changemakers in Israel, jointly awarded by the Rappaport Family Trust and La’Isha Magazine. The prize is given to women whose actions in the public, social, community, or economic spheres in Israel are exceptional and noteworthy.

The award was in recognition of “her dedicated activities and the changes she generated as the founder and executive director of Yedid.”

Another prizewinner was Keren Shemesh Perlmutter from NIF grantee Itach-Ma’achi: Women Lawyers for Social Justice, who won the Promising Initiative award for her committed efforts to promote social justice and advance the rights and status of vulnerable women in Israel through legislation.
