 vocate for equality and social justice in Israel. Not only has Alice been 
 involved with the New Israel Fund since its founding\, but she currently i
 s a longstanding member of its International Council and Religious Plurali
 sm Grants Committee. As founder of the Israel Women’s Network and Princi
 pal of the Pelech Religious Experimental High School for Girls (both NIF g
 rantees)\, Alice paved the way for women’s rights and religious pluralis
 m in Israel. In 1989\, Alice received the Emil Grunzweig Human Rights Awar
 d from the Association of Civil Rights in Israel. In 2007\, she was awarde
 d the Israel Prize\, Israel’s most prestigious honor\, for her lifetime 
 achievements and unique contributions to Israeli society.</p> <div class='
