Event in HEBREW

LOCATION: Private home on the Upper West Side, New York, NY.

Please RSVP to receive exact address

Refreshments will be served.

This is an opportunity to discuss the events of the summer, which most of us could only participate in from afar, and learn more about what led to the massive support of the social justice movements, and what the possible outcomes could be.

Established in 1972, the Association for Civil Rights in Israel (ACRI) is Israel’s oldest and largest human rights organization and the only one dealing with the entire spectrum of rights and civil liberties issues in Israel and the Occupied Territories.  ACRI is committed to promoting the universality of human rights and defending the human rights and civil liberties of all, regardless of religion, nationality, gender, ethnicity, political affiliation, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic background. Hagai El-Ad joined ACRI as Executive Director in July 2008. He brings to ACRI extensive experience as a leader in the field of human rights, in Israel and abroad. Most recently, he served as the first executive director of the Jerusalem Open House (JOH), the community and advocacy center for the city’s LGBT community.
